The Biofabrication division within the 3D Technologies group at our company is seeking a passionate scientist to join our team as a Biofabrication Scientist focused on developing complex in vitro models for drug discovery and development. Our state-of-the-art wet lab facilities offer an exceptional platform for hands-on experimentation and innovation.
In this role, you will work with minimal supervision on projects using advanced skills in biological systems, in vitro modeling, and biofabrication. We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-class researchers and contribute to the latest advancements in Microphysiological systems (MPS) model development.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US Salary Range
$85,600.00 - $134,800.00

In this role, you will work with minimal supervision on projects using advanced skills in biological systems, in vitro modeling, and biofabrication. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced bioprinting and other 3D platforms to fabricate Microphysiological systems (MPS) models for drug discovery and development.
- Apply analytical skills and creative thinking to solve new, cutting-edge problems in biofabrication.
- Work with minimal supervision to successfully execute R&D projects.
- Develop and/or standardize biofabrication protocols to support the successful transition to product development and production.
- Collaborate with various functional teams and external partners to ensure the successful completion of necessary projects.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, with demonstrated experience in tissue engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to work and collaborate effectively within a strong interdisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated capability to analyze biological statistics, draw conclusions, and clearly report results with suggested next steps.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft business correspondence, reports, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Experience in organ-on-chip and other in-vitro translation model.
- Work experience in the fields of tissue engineering and biofabrication with extensive knowledge of BBB modeling is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in biomaterials and/or mammalian cell culture is preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical drug development is preferred.
