Inventory Coordinator

SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across our operations. This role is responsible for tracking inventory movement, conducting audits, and ensuring that stock levels align with demand. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP systems, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Update and maintain inventory records in the ERP system.
• Coordinate stock replenishment by working with purchasing and warehouse teams.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist in inventory forecasting to support procurement and demand planning.
• Oversee inventory transfers between locations, ensuring proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory management.
• Support inventory-related reporting, providing data analysis and insights.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to optimize stock levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 2 or more years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving inventory.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures (if applicable).
• Use of scanners, computers, and other inventory tracking tools.
