What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Operations Manager position at Mercurial Security Solutions LLC?
Responsibilities:
- In charge of coordinating and supervising security staff at multiple sites
- Is available 24/7 as point of contact for supervisors, staff, management and client
- Oversees the daily operations of the security teams, schedules, and assignments of security staff
- Interviews, hires and trains new staff
- Maintain accurate records of all security operations and incidents
- Oversees the Daily Activity and Incident Reports
- Ensuring that security protocols are adhered to
- Monitor and evaluate security staff's performance
- To ensure a safe environment
- To conduct security inspections during various hours of the day and night to account for all shifts and sites on both weekdays and weekend days
- To document all discrepancies and breaches in security and other concerns
- To work shifts when required
Required work experience, skills and education:
- Must have management experience
- Must have Security experience
- Must be older than 21 years
- Must be flexible
- Ability to obtain other client and contract specific licenses
- Needs to be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to write reports
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must be able to observe, walk, stand, sit, or drive for extended periods of time in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently required to use hands, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus; self- motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision
