State specific pay scales for this role are as follows :

102,678 to $194,588 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

93,344 to $176,898 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

84,009 to $159,208 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Position Summary :

This role of a QA Automation Manager involves leading a team of QA engineers, improving automation frameworks, coordinating testing activities and integrating automation into the SDLC. This role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes, reduce manual effort, and ensure that testing aligns with business and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities :

Essential Job Functions :

• Lead, mentor, manage and grow a high performance team, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance on specific projects and resource management for team members to meet aggressive delivery timelines.
• Review and obtain detailed understanding of project scope, requirements and design in order to utilize the appropriate test method to test against them. Determine testing strategy and plan.
• Develop, execute and debug automated test scripts; support the automation of individual test cases.
• Manage / develop comprehensive test plans from functional requirements and design specifications for medium to large scale projects.
• Manage activities to develop manual and / or SOA test cases in black / grey box environments that can be transitioned to automated scripts after successful manual execution of functional / regression and system tests.
• Actively participate in requirements and design review meetings.
• Ensure problems arising from troubleshooting efforts are isolated and documented to facilitate problem resolution.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the systems and services developed by delivery team.
• Research and communicate to senior management the latest information on software test process improvements.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize TE / SET operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality deliverables on time.
