Position Overview
As part of the talented Demand Planning team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of an 18-month rolling demand plan for propulsion products as an input to a mature SIOP process. The position collaborates closely with multiple internal functions both gathering input and disseminating information as part of a monthly planning process that addresses volume, mix, and timing.

Position Overview

Essential Functions
- Assist in developing and maintaining demand forecast for assigned propulsion product categories and customer channels by incorporating various inputs including statistical forecasts, macro-economic data, sales and marketing plans, market intelligence, customer collaboration, financial plans, and new product information
- Responsible for preparation, analysis, and presentation of relevant material to facilitate a monthly demand planning cycle
- Responsible for evaluating forecast results including analysis of accuracy and error metrics
- Collaborate with outside sales & external customers to develop insights and deliver a best partner experience consistent with Mercury core values.
- Review demand planning process and solicit feedback from key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Support forecasting-oriented projects and utilize lean six sigma (LSS) methodology
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or closely related field (Supply Chain, Marketing, Market Research, Economics, Data Science or Statistics)
- 3 years of experience in a related field
- A learning mindset with a sense of curiosity combined with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills including consensus building experience.
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently while managing time efficiently.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and/or other data reporting tools
- Experience with Demantra demand planning or Oracle based software a plus
- Passion for boating and/or interest in propulsion systems is beneficial
