What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Specialist position at Mercury Medical?
- Answer phones, take orders and up sell orders.
- Audit orders, complete mail orders, fax orders. Review purchase orders for transportation, pricing, delivery address, etc.
- Ensure that orders are written up and processed correctly.
- Respond timely to daily customer inquiries both order processing and problemsolving.
- Works toward customer satisfaction within company guidelines. Make decisions based on company policy, recommend exceptions to the Customer Service Manager.
- Receive and research customer problems; contact appropriate support department(s), obtain and relay information to customer and appropriate personnel involved in delivery schedules, carriers, partial orders and dates of expected shipments.
- Reviews and completes all relevant forms necessary to solve problems in credit/payment/return, etc.
- Maintain a consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Two years of related experience preferred; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
