What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Biomedical Clinical Services position at Mercury Medical?
Summary:
- In accordance with established company policies and procedures, including but not limited to QMS, establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the Biomedical Clinical Services Department supporting corporate goals, objectives and mission.
- Analyzes the needs of the department and/or subsidiaries, (i.e. Anesthesia / Respiratory Services, Med Gas Certification, General Biomed Services), and establishes priorities for same.
- Oversee the daily operation of the Biomedical Clinical Services Department.
- Support, participate, develop and follow corporate and departmental standards.
- Responsible for growth and expansion of Biomedical Clinical Services business.
- Develop fiscal plans / budgets and implement.
- Attend respiratory, biomedical, anesthesia and other related meetings and seminars.
- Manages subordinate managers with combined direct reports in the Biomedical Clinical Services
- Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; developing departmental budget, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
