Job Purpose
The Electro-Technician (Electro-Tech) troubleshoots, maintains, tests and repairs electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic systems and components. Electro-Techs apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skills to support all areas of manufacturing including AC/DC powered drives, servos, electro-mechanical operations, and PLC’s.

Salary: DOE per hour
PLUS Reliability Incentive of $3.50hr
PLUS $3,000 New Hire Bonus
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 2-2-3 Schedule
- Monthly Rotation 7a-7pm/7pm-7am
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoots and repairs equipment.
- Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Performs preventive maintenance functions.
- Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment, including programmable controllers, variable frequency drives, sensors, power supplies, powered and mechanical drives, gauges and test equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Self motivation
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical trade position in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
- Paper converting facility experience.
- Some PLC exposure, Allen Bradley preferred
- Industrial controls experience
- Some hands on mechanical experience
- Some experience involving proximity, limit switches, magnetic contactors
Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
