As a Long Term Care Pharmacy, our specialty is providing medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Communities, and Boarding Homes across the state.
Job Description
- Responsibilities include working in the day-to-day operations within the prescription production environment. This includes packaging, assisting with state-of-the-art pharmacy robotic dispensing devices, and inventory control.
- Data-Entry and Customer account management
- Customer Service and professional communication with facilites, nurses, and physicians.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacy Intern in the State of Washington
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to follow instructions
- Must have a professional and positive approach to pharmacy services.
- Have the aptitude to develop a high level of clinical skills.
- Be very well organized, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently.
- Be able to work well with others and as a pharmacy team member.
- Be knowledgeable with general Office applications. Be comfortable with computers and various types of software.
Additional Information
- 30-40 hours a week in the summer depending on pharmacy needs.
- Flexible for changes in school demands
- 2 weekends per month (or one weekend day every week) during the school year.
- 1 weekday per week during the school year
- Schedules may change based on business needs.
