The Inspector, Quality role at Mercury Plastics offers an exceptional opportunity to be part of an efficient team striving for flawless performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform detailed inspection of in-process and finished parts to uphold outstanding quality.
- Deliver hands-on training for new production employees on our quality system.
- Audit the quality system to ensure strict adherence to shop floor activities.
- Measure and test finished and in-process parts as outlined in the control plan, meticulously recording data.
- Determine the tolerance to identify parts as approved or on-hold.
- Train new employees on the accurate use of production documents and quality fixtures.
- Report any training deficiencies to the relevant manufacturing supervisor.
- Align with all relevant procedures, work instructions, and test instructions.
- Perform general maintenance and cleanup within the department.
- Conduct final audits in the absence of the Quality Technician, ensuring world-class standards are upheld.
- Follow ISO procedures strictly.
Skills You'll Use Every Day:
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
