Purpose and Scope
The Extrusion Packer is responsible for following the training parameters to become proficient in packing of extruded product.
Responsibilities: The Extrusion Packer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning the process to:
- Inspect product and completed items for conformance to quality specifications.
- Removing product from assembly line to prepare
- Prepare product for shipping including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product
- Work independently and in teams to ensure a quality product
- Keep equipment and work area clean
Job Requirements
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and scop with repetitive motion
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to continuously stand or walk for full shift
- Must be detail oriented, and have troubleshooting skills
