What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Mercury?
Entry level position
Fast-paced creative design shop looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, friendly and communicative graphic designer. Knowledge in other artistic mediums and sports is a huge plus!
Tasks:
Artwork creation of sublimated and screen-printed apparel for the proofing process
Work directly with salesmen and customers to assist in the proofing process
Edit and/or redraw customer-supplied artwork into vector artwork for final print preparation
Prep art files for final production, including color separations
Knowledge of screen printing and other artistic mediums is preferable
Must be well-versed in illustrator and photoshop
Ability to answer and manage emails in appropriate timing
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow with high attention to detail while maintaining deadlines
Be able to communicate with the design team effectively and collaborate when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
