Position Summary:
The Deputy Director of Family Services will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations and
strategic direction of the agency. This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing
all social services programs, ensuring that they align with the organization's mission and goals.
The Deputy Director will work closely with the Director and Executive Director to develop and
implement new programs, improve existing services, and build strong relationships with
community partners. Strong management and leadership skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all social
services programs.
Staff Supervision: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise social services staff, ensuring that they
have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality services.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the agency's social services budget, ensuring that
resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Community Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners,
funders, and other stakeholders.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the agency's strategic
plan, ensuring that social services programs align with the organization's overall goals.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of social services programs, identifying
areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Grant Writing: Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals to secure funding
for social services programs.
Spervision: Much of your responsibilities will be directly supervising the day to day activities
of 15 licensed social workers, advocates and intake personnel.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social services management, preferably in a non-
profit setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with grant writing and budget management.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact on the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
