Responsibilities
THIS JOB OFFERS BOTH AN INCENTIVE AND RELOCATION:
As our Cardiac Nurse at Mercy General Hospital you’ll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.
You’ll never have the same day twice as your patients’ needs evolve. That’s why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists EKG techs and other cardiovascular professionals.
Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to go the extra mile for your patients and your strong assessment skills. To further support your nursing career we offer continuing education opportunities to help you advance your clinical nursing skills.

Position Summary:
- Managing acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices.
- Continuous renal replacement therapy and caring for thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (TAAA) patients with post-operative lumbar drains.
- You will be trained in direct recovery of the post open-heart patient.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current California RN License
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care unit
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred:
- Cardiac critical care experience in a acute care setting

$67.57 - $82.06 /hour
