Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ICU nurse for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 max attempts) and there is also a pass / fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Job Requirements 2 years of experience required. Active BLS certification required. Active ACLS certification required. Active AZ license or compact required. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 max attempts). Must pass a pass / fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. Schedule Information Every other weekend required. Could be every 3rd weekend. Work into permanent staff rotation for holidays. Unit Specific Information Ratios : 1 : 2 ICU & 1 : 3 MS / Tele Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend. Could be every 3rd. Scrub Color : Navy. Tele : GE Monitors. Must be able to interpret EKGs. Vents : Yes Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : Intensivist 24 / 7 IV Team : No RT 24 / 7 : Yes Pharmacy 24 / 7 : Yes Floating : First to Float to tele or the monitor room Floor specific orientation; 2 shifts on the floor. Additional Details ACLS, BLS; Auto-offer based off of Clinical Prescreen. Dysrhythmia Exam through UNA is required 24-48hrs prior to signing contract. MAX ATTEMPTS IS 2 - NO EXCEPTIONS, NO 3rd ATTEMPT ALLOWED FOR ANY REASON. If they do not pass in 2 attempts, they will be a DNU for CSH AZ and CSH Sacramento for 6 months. There is a PASS / FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. If they fail they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months.
