Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details ED Holds / Tele position at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start Nurses will be caring for more tele patients than medical patients Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips Job Requirements BLS certification required ACLS certification required Must have experience in titrating cardiac drips Must confirm cardiac drip experience in notes Schedule Information 12 hr shifts (7a - 7p or 7p - 7a) Ability to self-schedule, subject to change 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule Rotate holiday shifts with permanent staff Unit Specific Information Nurses will float to med / surg / tele / overflow units as needed 2 shifts orientation to Med / Surg / Tele at primary campus Navy scrub color / dress code Additional Details This is a tele position requiring tele skills Common diagnoses include ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS / Tele Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration
