- The Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider.
- Manages the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measures vital signs, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Registers patients, verifies insurance, and processes co-pays.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of Medical Assisting Program preferred.
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or Nationally Registered Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
