Job Responsibilities
- Assist with examination and treatment of patients under the direction of an urgent care provider.
- Manage the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform point-of-care testing, phlebotomy, and administer injections as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Graduate of Medical Assisting Program preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.
- Certification in Medical Assisting such as CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA is required.
