What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Float position at Mercy Health | GoHealth Urgent Care?
- Flexible scheduling –average of 14 rotating shifts/month
- Work in state-of-the-art centers that are equipped with advanced technology, including an EMR (EPIC) that is fully integrated with Henry Ford.
- Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- Make diagnoses and prescribe treatments/medications.

Excellent Bonus programs:
- Daily Volume Bonus paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift (to reward those who work at the busier centers).
- Quarterly Bonus of up to 10% on top of your clinical base salary, based upon patient satisfaction scores, productivity and quality measures.
- Minimum of 1 year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting as a NP or PA is required
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages) required.
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
- Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required
- Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
