Certification Details ACLS BLS Job Details PCU nursing position at Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon. Unit has 20 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 3 (max 1 : 4 if medical overflow). Common diagnoses include cardiac, respiratory, ETOH withdrawal, and renal failure. Job Requirements ACLS certification required. BLS certification required. Facility can request a 90 Day Emergency License. Acute care experience required, specifically in cardiac and respiratory. Schedule Information 12-hour shifts from 1845 to 0715. Every other weekend requirement. Holiday requirement includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Placed on call for low census with a maximum response time of 45 minutes. Unit Specific Information Floating requirement to ICU or Med / Surg as needed. Scrub color / dress code : Any color / design except purple for tops; any color except purple for pants. Additional Details Charge Nurse / House Supervisor available on the unit. Nurse aids present with ratios of 1 : 7 days and 1 : 11 nights. Unit / Department specific orientation lasts for 2 shifts.
