Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Service Line Coordinator - Hospitalists
The Site Coordinator plays a crucial role in advancing the strategic agenda within their assigned campus. This includes managing short-term and long-term priorities, representing the campus interests through effective communication, coordination, and integration of objectives. The coordinator exercises independent judgment, coordinates initiatives, and applies practical solutions to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate work with others; maintain confidentiality; monitor quality control standards;
- Identify problems and recommend solutions; communicate effectively verbally and in writing;
- Under the direction of the Service Line Director, monitor department quality assurance;
The Site Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the telephone system operational correspondence for the Service Line. They manage day-to-day staffing and issue resolution, as well as provide administrative support to the medical director. Additionally, they assist with experience of care, rounding on patients discharging to home, and discussing ways to improve care.
Patient to Physician Liaison
This role requires strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to organize and communicate with diverse individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will possess self-directed critical analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant / LPN certification;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field;
- Excellent project management and leadership skills;
- Proficient in software applications (Adobe DC, Microsoft Office, etc.).
