Certified Medical Assistant Role
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in delivering excellent patient care to our community. As a key component of our team, you will work closely with the primary care physician to ensure services are provided within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner
- Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying diagnostic test results, hospital reports, and other medical records
- Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
- Perform departmental-related clerical duties, including checking inventory and tracking referrals
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care under the direction of the Physician. You will prepare and assess patients for provider visits, observe, record, and report patient responses to medical care provided during appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze assessment data, evaluate patient condition, and collaborate with the provider to develop and maintain the patient's plan of care
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff members under the direction of the provider or manager
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare entities according to the patient's plan of care
- Administer medications safely, consistent with organization policies and procedures, and state requirements
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant certification from a recognized organization, or Active LPN licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
- One year of clinical patient care experience preferred
