Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Assist the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Vocational nurse in providing comprehensive patient care. Anticipate patient need for cleanliness and comfort. Assure all assigned activities are performed in a timely and complete manner. HSD/GED or 2 years equivalent work experience. Nurse Assistant certification OR completion of a nursing fundamentals class and are current enrollment in an accredited nursing school OR a graduate from an accredited LVN or RN nursing program. Ability to demonstrate respect for people courteous behavior to fellow employees patients their relatives visitors and to the Medical staff and follow the core values of the organization. Ability to accept supervision and guidelines and work cooperatively with others. Ability to follow regulations of the Hospital pertaining to job performance behavior dress code and patient care. Ability to be flexible in meeting the needs of varying situations. Ability to ensure that patients' rights are respected.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Nurse Assistant Certification*
BLS (AHA required)
or current accredited nursing student or LVN or RN graduate
Skills:
