A hospital in Sacramento is looking for an experienced CT Tech for a travel contract.

The right candidate will have 2 years of experience.

Job Requirements

Active BLS certification

ARRT (CT) certification

California Rad Tech license

Fluoro permit

2 supervisory references required at submittal; 1 within 12 months and 1 within 3 years worked.

Schedule Information

1400-0030

Every other weekend

First to float

Unit Specific Information

Floor specific orientation : 3 Day Orientation

Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Siemens Sensation 64 CT’s, Siemens Edge 128, Carestream and GE portables, OEC C-arms, Philips Rad and R / F

Additional Notes : Needs to be able to work well with others and have a positive attitude. Promote positive experience.

Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year.

Unit : Radiology

machines : 1 Siemens 64 slice CT, 1 Siemens 128 Slice CT, 1 Radiology Fluoro, 1 Rad, 3 Portables, 4 C-Arms

Procedures per day : 80 per day between XR and CT

EMR : Cerner

Holidays : Rotate with core staff

Scrub Color : Teal scrubs - radiation badge as well (Travelers must provide their own)

Charge Nurse : Lead on Day and Swing Shifts

Unit has patient transportation available as department resources.
