Job Details

  • Experienced Labor and Delivery nurses needed for a travel contract at Mercy Hospital of Folsom.
  • Candidates must have 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

    • Job Requirements

  • Active BLS certification required.
  • Active CA License required.
  • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • AWHONN certification required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.

    • Schedule Information

  • 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required.
  • Scheduling is done 4 weeks in advance.
  • May be placed on-call / standby on scheduled shifts.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Charge nurse or Nurse Shift Manager on every shift.
  • OB is in-house 24 / 7, anesthesia is on-call with a 20-minute response time.

    • Additional Details

  • Candidates must provide 2 supervisory references at submittal; one within 12 months and one within 3 years worked.
  • Modules are required to be completed before the start of the assignment, taking an average of 3-4 hours to complete.
