Job Requirements
Required Licensure : Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri)
Required Certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
Years of Experience : 1 year ICU
Float Requirements : May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
Schedule Information
Flexible Guaranteed Hours - 36 or 48 hours - must be listed on submission form
Blocked Scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements - must be listed on submission form
RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end
Holiday RTO – can request only 1 per assignment
Auto Offers are contingent upon facility approval. Offer may be retracted within 48 hours by the facility.
Unit Specific Information
Number of Beds : 16
Patient Ratios : 1 : 2. We do not guarantee ratios.
Equipment : bedside telemetry, ventilators, bipap / cpap, ventriculostomy's, Arterial lines, central lines, arctic sun, CRRT, Zoll, etc.
EMR : EPIC
Type of Patients on Unit : neuro, trauma, surgical
Personality Fit : We expect excellence and hold each other accountable.
Additional Details
Flu Vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1. Declinations / Exceptions are not accepted.
Comprehensive stroke center, level 2 trauma center
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
