- Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.
- Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
- Assesses patients understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess cardiorespiratory systems for changes in pediatric to geriatric patients and is able to treat appropriately.
- Directs and assists in maintenance and handling of special equipment, monitors and instruments.
- Assists in maintaining basic records and reports.
- Has knowledge of hospital policies and the functions of other departments.
- Maintains sterile technique when appropriate.
- Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
- Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated, or hospital trained.
- Arkansas License.
- 2 years experience.
- 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
- Shift: Variable (0800-1630 Monday- Friday) **Subject to change.
