The successful Activities Coordinator will implement program activities for residents, assesses the needs of residents, collaborates with them in the design and implementation of a well-rounded activities program and establishes linkages with community providers to utilize available resources.

Pay: 23.00-26.00/hour DOE

Duties:
- Work with site team and residents to develop and implement program activities to serve the specific targeted resident group.
- Coordinate all phases of implementing activities and programs including arranging for group transportation.
- Establish and maintain linkages with neighborhood and community providers to maximize utilization of resources.
- Conduct resident assessments to determine needs and interests for activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience planning and implementing activities programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College level course work in a related field.
- Speak a second language in addition to English: Spanish/Russian/Chinese.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Listen actively and work collaboratively; good interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Group facilitation skills and the ability to manage group dynamics
- Basic computer skills: Word required, Excel, Publisher, and Internet desired.
