Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Resident Services Manager I to join our team. This position is senior focused and will be based at CoastSide Senior Apartments in Half Moon Bay but overseeing staff at multiple other properties and will travel between sites around the peninsula and San Francisco, depending on the need. Candidate must demonstrate compassion and possess an understanding of the complexities of homelessness, comorbidities, trauma, mental health and substance usage. Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, use de-escalation strategies, understand harm-reduction, and take a person-centered approach.

Duties:
- Manage and coordinate resident services and activities to enhance the living experience.
- Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement community programs and events to foster a sense of community.
- Collaborate with maintenance and leasing teams to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets residents' needs.
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in community development or social service program development.
- Program and staff management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional work experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Work collaboratively with others in a team environment, respecting and valuing the perspectives and contributions of others.
- Function effectively in an environment with diverse cultures and multiple perspectives and lines of authority.
- Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency of verbal, writing and listening skills.
- Perform basic computer functions using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrate knowledge in data collection and analysis.
- Effectively motivate and supervise other staff, develop staff skills in support of resident and community programs and initiatives through training and mentoring.
