We are looking for an Associate Director of Operations to partner with staff in its three regional offices (LA, San Francisco, and Sacramento) and related entities. You will partner with the Vice President of Operations to develop and manage the annual budget for MHC, responsible for operations budget and assists MHC departments with financial analysis, decisions, and the annual budgeting process. Provide oversight of the MHC office operations, administrative management, and operational assistance to the staff of Mercy Housing California. Responsible for coordinating with MHI National, accounting teams, and external partners.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Regional travel is required.
Pay : $85,000 - 100,000

Analyze financial statements of Mercy Housing California (MHC), make recommendations, and implement improved changes to process.Provide financial management, forecasting assistance, and contract management support for the MHC corporate operations. Support other department leads with these tasks as requested.Provide and interpret YARDI reports as necessary to MHC staff and work with leadership and Accounting Staff in the National Office to explain major budget variances and generate appropriate financial statements from YARDI for MHC operations.Contribute to the development of three-year and annual plans and budgets (operating and capital) for MHC. Monitor actual budget performance and develop monthly and quarterly forecasts.Manage staff support across the region, facilitating communication, staff events, and performing or supporting problem-solving for cross-departmental issues. Maintain and improve the regional SharePoint platform. Support the MHC racial equity team.Supervise the MHC Operations Team and office operations. Hire, supervise, train, and mentor staff. Supervise processing invoices, payables, billings, and current allocation of expenses. Manage office equipment in coordination with national departments including printers, computers, and conference room technology.Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis and management, some of which involved budgeting and long-range forecasting modeling and analysis.Experience supervising.Knowledge and Skills :
