The Physician Assistant will work primarily in the orthopedic OR, first-assisting a range of orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements, upper extremity surgeries, and sports-related procedures.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs, blood tests)
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient education and follow-up
- Assist with procedures and surgeries in the operating room
- Assist orthopedic surgeons during various surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed surgical records
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records
- Must possess a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited school.
- Must possess a State of Maryland Physician Assistant License, in good standing.
- Certification Requirements - CPR
