What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech - Full Time (11am - 7 pm / 3pm - 11 pm) position at Mercy Regional Medical Center?
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English required.
Previous experience as a floor technician preferred but not required
Listening Skills- Strong active listening skills help floor technicians follow instructions clearly and understand what is required of them before beginning a task.
Attention to detail- Ensure that the area being managed is cleaned thoroughly, attention to detail is a key aspect of this role
Time Management- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to set schedules.
Physical Stamina- Spending most of workday on feet, operating, cleaning equipment and listing supplies. Good physical strength and stamina is a must
Mechanical Skills- Using floor cleaning equipment and tools, must be savvy with mechanical equipment and either know how to fix if a breakdown occurs, or ability to learn and adapt quickly.
