Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Accurately perform renal replacement therapy treatments per nephrologist orders
- Demonstrate competent skills in performing dialysis treatments
- Provide patient and family teaching on treatment protocols and preventative measures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an approved Bachelor or Associate school of nursing
- Current state license to practice nursing
- At least 2 years of current experience in the specialty or CDN certification
- Current BLS certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- Ability to safely operate dialysis machines
