What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Echocardiography Position in California position at Mercy San Juan Medical Center?
Mercy San Juan Medical Center is seeking an experienced Echo Tech for a travel contract opportunity. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing Cardiac sonography and working with both adult and pediatric patients.
This position requires the right candidate to have 2 full years of experience in cardiac sonography, as well as an active BLS and RDCS certification. In addition, candidates should have 2 supervisory references within the last 3 years, and not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year.
Working hours will be 10hr Days Mon-Sun required call, with approximately 3-5 shifts per month requiring call duty. Our unit is equipped with Philips Epiq 7 ultrasound machines, and you will need to have experience with this technology to be successful in this role.
On average, our technicians perform 8-9 scans per day. Profiles are sent directly to the unit for consideration, and candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
