What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric and Adult Cardiac Ultrasound Technician position at Mercy San Juan Medical Center?
We are seeking an experienced Echo Tech to join our team at Mercy San Juan Medical Center for a travel contract opportunity. This position requires the right candidate to have 2 full years of experience in cardiac sonography, as well as an active BLS and RDCS certification.
In addition to the necessary certifications, candidates should also have 2 supervisory references within the last 3 years, and not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year.
As a member of our team, you will work on 10hr Days Mon-Sun required call, with approximately 3-5 shifts per month requiring call duty. Our unit is equipped with Philips Epiq 7 ultrasound machines, and you will need to have experience with this technology to be successful in this role.
On average, our technicians perform 8-9 scans per day. Profiles are sent directly to the unit for consideration, and candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
