Overview:
The Account Coordinator I is responsible for effective and efficient business office functions including but not limited to collections, billing, cash posting, and credit resolutions. The AC I must possess strong knowledge of revenue cycle procedures and processes and be able to effectively and efficiently manage a high volume of patient accounts with great accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two to three years related experience required.
- Required Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Other: Must have ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and perform all daily assignments with consistent accuracy. Ability to use logic in determining correct document processing and to read, understand and follow written and oral instructions. Must be detail-oriented. Required to maintain strict confidentiality.
