Overview:
Mercy is committed to the education of future healthcare executives. Our large integrated delivery system provides a dynamic environment for the additional education and experience of new graduates. The Mercy Administrative Fellowship provides many opportunities to acquire the skills necessary to become a professional and successful healthcare leader. The Fellow will be exposed to many areas of an integrated delivery system. The organization will provide this opportunity through a three-phased, one-year fellowship.
Qualifications:
Education: MHA, MBA, or equivalent from an accredited graduate program, preferably CAHME-accredited.
Other Skills, Knowledge:
Strong interest in healthcare administration of a large multi-specialty group practice within an integrated healthcare delivery system.
Must be eager to develop as a leader by broadening professional experiences and skills.
Must be flexible and show willingness to take on challenging projects ranging from a full spectrum of operational and administrative areas.
Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and ability to meet multiple deadlines in all work efforts
Demonstrates ability to synthesize information (quantitative/qualitative) and complete components of preliminary and final reports, including spreadsheets and financial analyses (if applicable)
Demonstrates ability to work independently and to collaborate in group settings
Exhibits a willingness to take on leadership and non-leadership roles and responsibilities
