Key Responsibilities
Assists occupational therapists with patient assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans in collaboration with occupational therapists. Provides education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupation Therapist Assistant program.
- Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure in state of practice.
- One year experience is preferred but will consider new graduates.
- BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
