What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic RN - Bariatric Program Coordinator position at Mercy?
Overview:
Responsible for development, promotion and coordination of the Bariatric Program and services at Mercy Hospital. Performs duties consistent with the established stand of practice, the goal of Mercy, and within the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduated from an accredited RN nursing school.
- Licensure: Current RN in the state of practice.
- Experience: Knowledgeable regarding bariatric surgery, bariatric care and special needs related to the bariatric patient. Skills in program development, operations, presentation and budgeting. Use of the EMR. Chart review/Data collection and report writing experience preferred.
- Certification/Registration: Current Basic Life Support.
