Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are thoroughly prepared for their visit by completing the Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and conducting medication reconciliation.
- Clinical Support: Assist with in-office testing, such as drawing blood, mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
- Vaccination Administration: Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
- Scheduling: Schedule follow-up appointments when needed, according to office policy.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
- Licensure: Active LPN licensure
