Job Summary
The Chief Nursing Officer will collaborate with senior leaders, medical staff, and other clinical leaders to drive strategic initiatives and operational goals. This individual will participate in Ministry performance improvement initiatives and align local initiatives with the Ministry Nursing Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leaders, medical staff, and other clinical leaders to drive strategic initiatives and operational goals
- Participate in Ministry performance improvement initiatives and align local initiatives with the Ministry Nursing Strategic Plan
- Direct the implementation of nursing policies and procedures, nursing standards, and a nurse staffing plan
- Develop and implement hospital-wide plans to improve nursing care, treatment, and services
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a Nursing Leadership role
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Must be actively pursuing applicable Master's degree with completion of degree within 3 years
- Preferred Education: Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field
- Certifications: Nurse Executive Certification and/or FACHE
