Overview:
The Director - Environmental Services is responsible for the overall direction, development, evaluation, and management of the Environmental Services Department. This role will provide strategic direction and operational oversight to the Environmental Services Department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree as outlined below.
- Experience: 2 years of leadership experience for those meeting degree requirements. In lieu of a degree, 7 years of leadership experience will be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in management or comparable field.
- Experience: Prior Director Environmental Services Experience.
- Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Ability to lead and manage in a diverse and demanding environment with focus on client/customer/nursing needs.
- Strong communications skills both oral and written.
- The ability to facilitate multiple complex projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, and organizational skills on all levels.
- The ability to creatively manage and provide innovative solutions which deliver effective results.
- Possess extreme flexibility to render effective customer solutions.
