Overview:
Delivers, installs and returns Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
The DME Technician is responsible for the delivery, set-up and maintenance of all home oxygen, durable medical equipment and/or supplies in the patient's home. The DME Technician is responsible for correct documentation of all procedures performed and equipment delivered and/or picked up to expedite reimbursement. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years cumulative experience
- Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred Education: Associates degree/ Technical degree
- Licensure: Valid Driver’s License for all Mercy locations
