**Job Summary**
Mercy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team in Lebanon. As an essential member of our emergency medical services, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients, and transport them to the appropriate destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an emergency vehicle, responding to emergency and non-emergency scenes, and transporting patients safely.
- Ensure the ambulance is stocked, clean, maintained, and ready for use at all times.
- Assess patients to promote optimal levels of wellness throughout pre-hospital care and implement patient care plans accordingly.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced life support skills, including radio communications.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state where employed, valid driver's license.
- Experience: Applicants must be at least 19 years old to operate Mercy EMS vehicles.
- Certifications: Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
