Job Description:
As a Paramedic with Mercy EMS, you will be responsible for performing direct patient care, including assessment, evaluation, and basic and advanced medical rescue operations. You will work under the direction of the Medical Director and according to the protocols, procedures, and policies of Mercy EMS.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice
- Experience: At least 19 years of age
- Certifications/Registration: Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
