Overview:
Partners with Mercy leaders and co-workers to administer the planning of special events for physicians and co-workers. Includes the preparation, development, arrangement, scheduling and organization of events from beginning to end. Coordinates all amenities including site selection, food and audio-visual equipment. Each event should align with Mercy's Mission and place particular emphasis on the 'Fullness for Life' section of the Mercy Charism, while being mindful of the target audience and objectives, which include co-worker engagement and recognition.
Maintains Mercy Co-Worker Discount program and event and sports ticket tracking.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience with Event Management, Marketing or Human Resources.
- Required Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Marketing is beneficial.
- Preferred Education: BS in Business, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- Other: Customer service oriented. Must have strong project management skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts and large amounts of data to others in a way that is understandable. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong MS Office Excel, Word, and Access skills necessary. Understanding of relational databases, ability to query data, and generate reports. Strong analytical skills a must.
