Overview:
Performs general accounting functions, including assistance with asset routine additions, disposals, and transfers; roll forward of capital assets; lease additions and terminations in LeaseQuery; and other assigned, monthly responsibilities. Also performs non-routine, special projects using accounting knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required in financial field (or equivalent experience)
- Other Skills:
- Proficiency in PC applications, including (but not limited to) spreadsheet, database management and word processing.
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills required.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
- Ability to work under deadlines and in stressful situations required.
- Motivated
- Ability to work independently.
- Preferred Experience:
- Fixed asset accounting experience
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Lawson and/or LeaseQuery experience a plus.
