Overview:
The role of the Health Screening Specialist is on-site Health Risk Assessments as amember of the HRA team. Knowledge and skilled technique while performing blood pressure, pulse, body composition and phlebotomy.Phlebotomy skills required.Participates in processing of HRA, screening, or class paperwork. Ability to complete training and perform a variety of Health Screening procedures including Urine Drug Screens, Hearing Testing, Vision Testing, PulmonaryFunction Testing, EKG's, and Respirator Fit Testing. Promote additional wellness services while on-site with a detailed knowledge of services and products offered by Corporate Health and Wellness. Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out of town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous medical testing and/or phlebotomy experience.
- Required Education: Associates Degree inHealth related field or Certified Medical Assistant. Job experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support certification with in 90 day probationary period.
- Other: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Allow for flexible hours including early mornings, on-site travel to out of town locations, and accommodating multiple shifts and locations for contracted companies. Drive Corporate Health vehicle on-site for testing and obtain Chauffeurs License within 4 weeks of start date. Equipment used: Various forms of medical and clerical equipment for doing HRA's, including lab supplies and needles, blood pressure cuffs, hearing testing equipment, and other testing equipment.
