Job Description
- We are seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our team in the Labor & Birth department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient care needs, including vital signs, bathing, toileting, ambulation, and transport.
- The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a full-time position working nights from 6:30p-7:00a. If no previous experience, Mercy will provide a required 175-hour training program that meets the Department of Health and Senior Services requirements. The program will be completed as part of the new hire orientation process and must be completed within 90 days of hire to remain in the position.
