Overview:
The Health Economics and Performance Optimization Lead Analyst manages the overall coordination of analytics projects and ensures projects meet time and scope requirements and the needs of stakeholders.
Coordinates with Mercy clinical and operational stakeholders, external partners, and IT staff to scope and create analytical solutions to advance Mercy's performance across value-based agreements and primary care.
Partners with stakeholders to develop plan for implementation and enhancement of analytical solutions.
Serves as subject matter expert of analytical solutions post-implementation.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, health management or related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Eight years of relevant technical, business or clinical work experience
Certification/Registration:
Epic data model certification or obtain within 6-months of hire date
Certification in Mercy’s health economics platform within 6-months of hire date
Preferred Education: Master's degree in related field
